As seen on Sky Bet, the latest betting odds for both the WWE Championship and Universal Championship matches at Hell in a Cell have been released.
This Sunday the HIAC pay per view will take place, and while there have been some criticisms of the show in relation to the build up, there are still a number of intriguing matches that are set to go down. Two of them are Roman Reigns vs Braun Strowman for the Universal title and AJ Styles vs Samoa Joe for the WWE title.
In terms of the bets, we aren’t expected to see any championship changes in these two bouts with Styles (8/15) being the favourite over Joe (11/8) and Reigns (2/7) being the favourite over Strowman (5/2).
These two matches are considered to be highly anticipated in terms of how good the quality is going to be, but for the most part, the WWE Universe agrees with the betting odds in regards to who is going to walk away with the belts.
Predictability can sometimes be a good thing in professional wrestling so long as the pay off is worth the wait, but Joe and Strowman have both done fantastic jobs respectively in building themselves up as challengers.
While the betting odds can always change between now and Sunday it seems more likely to consider that these are accurate, and although WWE could always pull off a surprise on the night, it wouldn’t come as a shock if these outcomes come to fruition and both championships remain where they are.
