Brazilian featherweight Renato Moicano has only endured one loss in his stint with the UFC: A Fight of the Night submission to current #1 contender Brian Ortega at UFC 214. Once Ortega’s fight with division champion Max Holloway was booked for UFC 231, Moicano took to Twitter to call for the next potential opponent: former featherweight champion Jose Aldo.

Aldo’s last fight was a TKO victory over Jeremy Stephens last month in Canada after suffering two back-to-back losses to Max Holloway. Meanwhile Moicano scored a victory over Cub Swanson earlier this month at UFC 227. This potential bout could serve up the next contender for the strap after Ortega and Holloway clash this December.

Stay tuned.
