Neville Might Not Be Leaving WWE After All

The wrestling world has been ablaze with speculation since it was revealed Neville is no longer under WWE contract. However, a new update by way of PWInsider could throw yet another spanner in the works for those hoping Neville is ready to compete on the independent scene.

While there is confirmation “The King” is no longer under a WWE contract, Neville has been spotted in Pittsburgh as recently as last week. This is extremely interesting, as that location and area are famous for being where WWE sends talent for medical testing.

This brings up a range of possibilities as to what Neville’s next move is- but if this is indeed accurate and Neville is being tested by WWE, it indicates that the two parties are still in talks. Neville may not be under contract with the company, but he could be in line for an entirely new contract.

This contract would likely be significantly better than his previous one. We speculate Neville would most likely enter the main roster as he was when he had his NXT call-up again, or he could return to the UK for NXT UK. That would allow him to work independent promotions and compete for WWE at the same time.
