Top WWE Title Could Switch Back Following SummerSlam

It looks like nothing is set in stone when it comes to WWE. At this point, SmackDown Live is in quite a mess with everyone cheering for Becky Lynch while Charlotte Flair is the Champion. It’s kind of confusing who is the good guy and who is the bad guy.

Becky has been trying to be a heel but fans still love her. This brings up a problem and maybe Carmella is the answer again. Dave Metzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE could switch the title back to Mella so Becky would have an actual heel to chase if they keep her as a babyface.

Of course, WWE is stubborn and will do what they want. But if you think about it, things weren’t all that bad with Carmella as champion because at least WWE was booking an angle that agreed with how fans actual viewed the women involved.
