The October 6th show at the T-Mobile Arena is already shaping up to be one of the biggest UFC events in the past couple years with the Conor McGregor versus Khabib Nurmagomedov bout for the lightweight championship as the headliner. Other fights that are taking place are Derrick Lewis against Alexander Volkov, Sergio Pettis against Jussier Formiga, and Michelle Waterson versus Felice Herrig.
Now, accordign to MMA Fighting, another grudge lightweight match will be added pitting former featherweight Gray Maynard against 34 year old Nik Lentz, another former featherweight who is 3-2 in his last five fights. Both Maynard and Lentz made their UFC debuts over 10 years ago, and look to use their veteran experience to remain relevant in a division that is slowly becoming overstacked with talented fighters.
