Cody Rhodes has taken to Twitter in order to poke fun at Triple H in the wake of ROH & NJPW selling out Madison Square Garden earlier today.

The former WWE superstar has done some truly remarkable things since leaving WWE a few years back, but playing a part in this achievement could well prove to be one of the biggest moments of his career. On top of that, Rhodes was also one of the three main men responsible for All In which is set to take place on September 1st.

Aside from all of that, though, it seems as if The American Nightmare is still intent on bringing his former employers into the conversation – as this latest tweet confirms.

It’s no coincidence that he tweeted this in the immediate aftermath of the sell out being revealed, with ROH & NJPW’s main competition on the night of G1 Supercard being NXT Takeover. Triple H, who is the main reason why NXT has been so successful, will likely be planning on putting together a card that is more than capable of competing with the MSG supershow.

Cody has made no secret of the fact that he would entertain the idea of a WWE return somewhere down the road, and if it does eventually happen, this could prove to be one of the main points behind a ‘takeover’ kind of storyline.

As it stands, though, all that’s left to do is congratulate both promotions, as professional wrestling continues to go from strength to strength.
