Braun Strowman spoke with SPN Action during his most recent trip to India. The current Money in the Bank holder broke down his rivalry with Kevin Owens as he prepares to defend his briefcase against K.O. at SummerSlam. SPN then asked Strowman who he would consider his best friends behind the scenes of his destructive WWE personae. Braun didn’t take long to give an answer.
Behind the scenes, I’m friends with everyone at work, but without a doubt, my best friend is Bray Wyatt. The man pretty much brought me into the industry when they tagged me up with The Wyatt Family it was my seventh match I’d ever had. I didn’t know the difference between a headlock and a beetle throw.
Bray rode with me, showed me how to get around, how to book hotels, how to make the towns. Then he started helping me with learning how to wrestle and I will forever be indebted to him. He’s not my best friend, he’s my brother.
It wasn’t terribly long ago that Strowman was just another member of the Wyatt Family, appearing behind a black sheep mask and under the complete control of the Eater of Worlds hypnotic personality. Amazing how improved Braun has become in the ring and on the microphone. Watch the full interview below.
