WWE Not Happy About Daniel Bryan’s Current Contract Status

Daniel Bryan’s WWE contract is coming up at the end of this month. Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that he hasn’t signed a new contract just yet.

Meltzer said the fact that The Miz took his promo so far and made jokes about Bryan performing in high school gyms was a sign WWE might not be too happy with Bryan right now.

“There’s a lot of stuff that’s really weird going  on, I’ll just say that.”

It was noted that the belief is Bryan will re-sign with WWE. But, if he does leave WWE, he won’t be working high school gyms because he’ll be working only big shows for NJPW, ROH, and CMLL.
