Former MLB All Star Signs Independent Wrestling Contract

It seems that pro wrestling is the new future for former athletes. The WWE has always recruited former football players (Baron Corbin and Mark Henry for example) and last year signed the biggest Mixed Martial Arts star (Ronda Rousey) to their roster. IMPACT wrestling took a similar chance on former Steelers running back Deangelo Williams, who had a very successful wrestling debut (and maybe ever) at last year’s Slammiversary.

Now, former MLB star Jose Canseco will join the ranks in the pro-wrestling world at World Class Revolution Pro. Canseco spent much of his time with the Oakland Athletics during his baseball run where he was a 6-time All-Star, 2-time World Series winner, and AL MVP. Check out Revolution Pro’s announcement below welcoming Canseco to their team.
