The speculation for Brock Lesnar’s next opponent to challenge for the Universal Title boiled down to two men: Bobby Lashley or Roman Reigns. Last night at Extreme Rules, the two competed in what seemed like an unofficial #1 contender’s match to determine who would square off with the Beast at the Barclay’s Center in August, although that was never announced as a stipulation. Lashley would go on to win the bout after surprising the Big Dog with a spear out of nowhere.

Now, according to WrestleVotes…the new future contender for the Beast will be determined in a multiple-man match to take place on this evening’s Raw at the Keybank Center in Buffalo.

It would be hard to believe that both Lashley and Reigns won’t be involved in that main event. It also would make sense for the Architect and the Demon to join that match with Seth Rollins most-likely out of the Intercontinental title picture and Finn Balor coming off a PPV victory himself.
