There was a rumor floating around over the weekend that Brock Lesnar’s upcoming fight against Daniel Cormier would be airing on ESPN but we can confirm that is not the case.

Dave Meltzer discussed this rumor on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Radio and laid this rumor to rest. Meltzer said he seen the rumor online after he was asked about it on Twitter. When asking around Meltzer confirmed that the fight would not be on ESPN, however ESPN would be heavily promoting the fight.

The fight is still expected to take place on traditional pay-per-view.
