As noted earlier, the fans in Chicago at last night’s Money in the Bank event publicly rejected the match between Roman Reigns and Jinder Mahal.
A lot of harsh things were chanted during this match that led to several wrestling personalities calling out the crowd in the arena.
However, the Big Dog has finally spoken on the matter. Reigns took to his Twitter account to address the surreal reaction that his match received at last night’s show.
Reigns said that this reaction from the crowd is what built his empire. He said that his job is to get a reaction every night and the people in Chicago did their part last night.
Match-by-match, city-by-city. That’s what’s built the #RomanEmpire. Every time I walk in the ring, it’s an opportunity to illicit a reaction. You did your part last night Chicago. #MITB
