Baron Corbin has a new role on Raw because Stephanie McMahon appointed him as the new constable of Raw. He promptly used this power to pretty much do whatever he wants to keep the peace.

But Dave Meltzer discussed this new part for Baron Corbin during Wrestling Observer Radio where it made sense why WWE made an authority figure out of Corbin.

“I guess the idea is they got nobody to feud with him so this is a way to keep him in the spotlight feuding with Kurt and they started that out. But yeah, more authority figures.”
