Ronda Rousey is in a title match for her first WWE singles match. She will face Nia Jax and that feud was carried on this week with an apparent heel turn from Nia Jax where she squashed a jobber in front of Ronda Rousey. The entire time Nia was talking about how Ronda’s armbar wouldn’t work on her.

Dave Meltzer noted during Wrestling Observer Radio that this could very well be the set up for an eventual armbar on Nia Jax when all is said and done at Money In The Bank.

“She should beat her via armbar after the segment today. I don’t see it being 30 seconds, I mean it wouldn’t be a bad idea to do that but the match does have the potential to be a disaster if it goes too long, that’s true.”

So it wouldn’t be surprising if Ronda Rousey’s first singles match in WWE sees her walking out as a champion. But only time will tell what they do but in the end, they need Rousey out front and nothing really seems to matter now that they have $2 billion worth of television contracts on the way.
