Alexa Bliss and NIa Jax battled at Backlash but it ended with Jax winning and cutting an anti-bullying promo on the microphone after the match.

Dave Meltzer discussed Alexa Bliss’ injury on Wrestling Observer Radio and pointed the blame toward what was really responsible for this setback for Bliss.

“By the way, Alexa injured her left shoulder legit in this match on one of those spots where she got thrown around.”

“That’s probably why she got hurt because it looked shitty.”

Neither Meltzer or Bryan Alvarez were fans of the Raw Women’s TItle match at Backlash. How would you have booked it without a promo from Nia Jax at the end of it?

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
