The New Day has been a prominent feature of whichever WWE show they were a part of since their conception. Kofi Kingston, Big E, and Xavier Woods have also been rolling in royalty money as they traveled around the globe carrying the WWE Tag Team Championships four times in the process.

But as Brad Shepard mentioned on Backstage In WWE, the latest merchandise sales numbers could reflect fans could be growing tired of The New Day

“We’ve talked about how stale they are as an act and if merch sales are any indication plenty of fans agree. They are no longer a top seller.”

Cohost Jon Fisher noted that it was time to break them up to which Shepard replied, “it’s a new day yes it is.”

How would you book The New Day from this point on?

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
