WWE is pulling out all the stops for the Greatest Royal Rumble including bringing The Undertaker and Chris Jericho to Saudi Arabia along with pretty much everyone else they can get ahold of on the men’s roster.

They have a lot of money on the table in the Saudi Arabian market and it looks like they’re going to be off to a good start.  But it turns out one big name won’t be at the show because “Stone Cold” Steve Austin reportedly turned down an invitation to be a part of the big showcase.

Brad Shepard of Bodyslam.net reports that WWE reached out to Austin to appear in Jeddah but The Rattlesnake declined the offer.

Shepard went on to elaborate on the subject by saying:

“A source in WWE told me that the Saudi show is a big, big deal to Vince and there is no short-selling that. He isn’t flying every upper-level talent he can find to Saudi Arabia without good reason (that 10-year deal being quite a good reason). They are throwing everything including the kitchen sink at it. They wanted Austin to show up too, but he declined.”

It would have been nice to see Steve Austin at the Greatest Royal Rumble, but the show is going to be plenty full enough as it is.
