The Greatest Royal Rumble is going to be a pretty epic show and WWE really wants to give fans all the reasons in the world to tune in. With a Cage and Casket Match, this show is going to turn into a star-studded gimmick-heavy occasion.

But as Dave Meltzer discussed on Wrestling Observer Radio, the actual length of the show is still a matter of discussion backstage.

“I have no idea and I’m sure they have no idea today. You know the week of the show they’ll start timing it out. But this isn’t like — when people ask questions like that I don’t think people realize that these shows don’t get timed and put together in match order and everything — that’s all done the last couple days before the show. So I’m sure that they have no idea right now.”

So with all of the wild speculation and planning that could be taking place, the reality is that WWE doesn’t even know exactly what they’re doing just yet. The winner of the Greatest Royal Rumble hasn’t even been announced to receive any kind of prize at this point.

Long story short, WWE doesn’t know yet because they still need to put the show together. At this point, they just know it’s going to be a loaded event with tons of title matches as well as a Casket Match and the Greatest Royal Rumble itself. But it might be a pretty safe bet to mark your calendars for April 27th and block off a good chunk of time to take in the entire show.
