Reason WWE Added Rusev to the US Championship Match at WrestleMania

Dave Meltzer reported in the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter the Rusev’s massive merchandise sales attributed to WWE adding him into the US Championship title match at this year’s WrestleMania.

Rusev was originally penciled in to be a part of the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal but WWE changed their plans and put him in US Title match this last week on SmackDown Live. The match will now see Randy Orton defending his title against Bobby Roode, Jinder Mahal and Rusev.
