Roman Reigns Could Miss Next Month’s Survivor Series Event

Roman Reigns may not return to WWE in time for next month’s WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view event.

Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that while Reigns’ viral illness isn’t expected to keep him out of action very long, it’s still very possible that the company keeps him off WWE programming until after the upcoming Survivor Series event for storyline purposes. Reigns’ is slated to be cleared right before the event, but it doesn’t seem likely that they will just toss him into a match at last minute.

As of this writing, it’s unclear if the company is planning to continue with The Shield reunion once he’s back. We should have a better understanding in the weeks to come regarding the direction the company is taking.
