If you are wondering why “Stone Cold” Steve Austin did not participate in any WrestleMania events this past weekend, it is because his contract with the company has expired.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that his contract with the company to produce podcasts has ran up. Austin’s podcasts at one point were one of the highest viewed WWE Network shows. After the podcast he did with Dean Ambrose, which got bad reviews, the company decided not to do them anymore.

Speaking of Austin, he was one of five guys that Diamond Dallas Page listed as people to induct him into the Hall of Fame. Other names included Jake Roberts, Scott Hall, Mick Foley, and Eric Bischoff.
