Ronda Rousey is the top female on Raw, but even though Becky Lynch is The Champ and The Man, she’s still out of action with a concussion. Therefore, Charlotte Flair needed to step in and mix it up with Rousey at Survivor Series.
With Flair’s recent aggressive streak, she’s showing a lot of potential, but as Mike Johnson noted on PW Insider Elite audio, WWE appears to be building these three up for something that might be very interesting to watch, especially once Lynch is able to compete again.

“The interesting thing will be this. Becky Lynch was already this pissed off angry villain who was full of swagger and the fans fell in love with her for it. Charlotte kinda playing as not the same role, but very similar so what happens when these two characters come back and are face to face after Charlotte has beaten down Ronda Rousey in Becky’s name?”
“Do they end up aligning with each other? Do they end up at odds? Do they end up at odds but they’re on the same side when Ronda shows up? So we got a lot of time between now and WrestleMania but I think we have three valid candidates to potentially headline WrestleMania as the first women’s main event. Between Ronda, Becky, and Charlotte in third position.”

It looks like WWE has quite a few options coming up that could go on to shape the way WrestleMania goes down in MetLife Stadium. Although some fans might feel cheated if they booked a triple threat match instead of giving us the match that we wanted at Survivor Series, if I were a betting man whatever WWE puts together will likely be as exciting as they can make it for their biggest show of the year.
