RAW Superstar Sasha Banks took over WWE’s Instagram yesterday while the company was in Boston for a live event. Throughout her time on the Instagram account, Banks answered a variety of fan questions. Through one question, in particular, Banks teased Women’s Tag Team Championship.
When asked how she and Bayley are doing, Banks responded by claiming there is nothing better than teaming with her best friend, and they are coming for the proverbial Tag Team Championship if WWE announces them.
“There is nothing better than teaming up with my best friend Bayley. We are the Boss N’ Hug connection and we are coming for those Tag Team titles…whenever they announce them.”
She would confirm that her dream matches are to face Trish Stratus in a singles match and team with Bayley to face both Stratus and Lita.
“What’s my dream match? I guess to wrestle Trish Stratus. I would also love myself and Bayley to wrestle Trish and Lita.”
Banks also reveals her dream WrestleMania match would be to take on Bayley in the main event.
“My dream WrestleMania match is myself vs. Bayley in the main event.”
Banks has made it no secret that Superstars like Eddie Guerrero, Stratus and Rey Mysterio are heroes of hers. When asked to comment on Mysterio’s WWE return, one could already expect how the former RAW Women’s Champion responded.
“I am SO excited that Rey Mysterio is back. I wish he was on RAW so I could hang out with him and be best friends with him, but me being the biggest fan ever, I’m so happy he’s back. 619 baby!”
On being back home in Boston, Banks noted that getting to wrestle in front of her family is a dream come true. She would also confirm where her favorite place in Boston is to eat and what she likes to do when she is home and not on the road.
“It’s always the best when I get to come home to Boss-ton and, you know, I get to see my family and I get to wrestle in front of them. This is a legit dream come true.”
“Favorite place to eat in Boston? That’s so hard because there are so many good places. If I had to choose one, I would choose Bricco!”
“When I’m at home I usually just sleep on the couch, do laundry and watch a lot of anime, a lot of Netflix and a lot of Euros because I like to watch my shows and catch up.”
Throughout the Q&A, Banks confirmed her favorite matches are against Bayley at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn and against Charlotte Flair in the first-ever women’s Hell in a Cell match. Meanwhile, she also confirms her husband creates unique outfits for her, and her dream Mixed Match Challenge partners would be Guerrero, Mysterio, AJ Styles, Tyler Breeze or Roman Reigns.
Banks does not currently have a confirmed match for Evolution, though the ongoing feud between her, Bayley and Natalya against The Riott Squad is likely to be confirmed for the Evolution PPV this weekend in Uniondale, New York.
