The WWE Hall Of Fame means a lot to some and others don’t really see it as legitimate. But it is still a payday and a chance for pro wrestlers to be honored by their peers. Every year they pull in a huge name to headline the festivities and next year WWE apparently has their eye on an Animal.
Brad Shepard said on Barnburner’s No Holds Barred podcast that Batista is currently a front-runner to be the headlining name for this upcoming year’s WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony.

“Batista is now likely to go into the WWE Hall Of Fame this coming year at WrestleMania. Not final, but he is the early major name to go into the Hall Of Fame this coming year.”

Let’s not forget that Shepard broke a number of last year’s inductees months before they were officially announced.
Only time will tell if WWE books a bigger name than Batista to headline the HOF event in 2019, but it looks like Batista might be returning for an Evolution reunion at SmackDown 1000 and then find himself as a WWE Hall Of Famer when it’s all said and done.
