RAW Superstar Matt Hardy has been teasing a retirement on his social media- revealing his pelvis is fusing with his lower back.

While Hardy is currently in New York City for SummerSlam, and may indeed pop up throughout the duration of the show, he has bigger things on his plate. No current confirmation is in place, but it is believed Hardy will be taking an extended period of time off from in-ring competition to focus on his injury.

Hardy will be undergoing a big physical therapy regime in North Carolina, as Mike Johnson of PWInsider writes. This will seemingly attempt to help Hardy deal with the injury, though it is unlikely any full repairs can be done without surgery.

Ringside News will continue to bring you the latest updates on Hardy’s injury and the subsequent recovery process.
