Backstage Reaction to Paige as the SmackDown General Manager

Mike Johnson mentioned on the latest installment of PWInsider Elite Audio that WWE officials are very happy with Paige portraying the SmackDown Live General Manager on weekly television. The belief is that she will be receiving additional facetime close to next year’s WrestleMania when her biopic “Fighting with My Family” releases.

“They’re extremely happy with Paige as the GM. Extremely Happy. They definitely want to showcase her more especially since the movie about her life is going to come out towards WrestleMania season next year. So you can expect that she’s going to get a lot more facetime leading into that to help promote that film.”
