While discussing the cruiserweights on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer speculated that Buddy Murphy will face Cedric Alexander at the upcoming WWE Backlash event.
“It will probably be Mustafa Ali vs Alexander for Saudi Arabia and probably Buddy Murphy if he can make weight against Cedric Alexander for Backlash, I guess.”
WWE Backlash will take place on May 6, 2018 at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey and will be a dual branded WWE event.
