Rey Mysterio Still Set to Meet with Triple H Despite Recent Injury

It appears that Rey Mysterio has only suffered a partially torn bicep while working for Northeast Wrestling this past Friday in Connecticut.

While the severity of the tear has yet to be confirmed, Mysterio was examined by a doctor earlier this week and he is able to move his arm. Had it been a complete tear, he wouldn’t be able to move it at all. This is a positive sign.

PWInsider reports that the injury has not halted discussions with WWE and the two are scheduled to try to negotiate a deal shortly.
