Bobby Roode defeated Jinder Mahal in the finals of the United States Championship tournament on tonight’s episode of SmackDown Live to be crowned the new US Champion.
The match was originally scheduled to take place on next week’s show, however WWE did an angle after Roode defeated Mojo Rawley to set up the match on tonight’s show.
