It was previously reported that Tough Enough winner Josh Bredl was released from his contract with WWE last week.

Dave Meltzer indicated in the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that after suffering either a bad concussion or multiple concussions, he was never expected to return to the company. It becomes a legal issue where he was kept under contract to alleviate any potential future legal issues. The company felt that had been for long enough and he was cut, but his being cut was inevitable for a long time.
