John Cena Asked About Wedding with Nikki Bella Airing on TV

While speaking to Pop Sugar, John Cena talked about his public proposal to longtime girlfriend Nikki Bella at WrestleMania 33 earlier this year.

“I messed around with the idea months before and I guess it was just me having the guts enough to do it on that stage,” said Cena. “So many of our viewers know myself and Nicole from the WWE ring, and I’ve been in WWE for 15 years now, [so] they’re my family. WrestleMania is the one day of the year that the entire family gathers together. So, I figured it was a great way for me to tell the woman I love that she’s the one I want to spend the rest of my life in front of all the people that have followed us for all of these years.”

Cena also discussed the possibility of having his wedding ceremony with Nikki air live on WWE television.

“I’m not sure. I’m going have to divert to her on that one. She’s the boss. [Her] show is called Total Bellas, so it’s kind of about [her] life and if she decides to open up that moment to the rest of the world, I certainly support her. At the same time, if she were to decide that wants that moment just for us, I’d certainly support her with that as well.”

I swear to God if this is at WrestleMania 34 do you know how many people are going to not TuneIn and not want to buy tickets it’s supposed to be WrestleMania not wedding Mania and I think they’re trying to talk Macho Man Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth sweating from SummerSlam 91 never going to happen because fun fact Macho Man and Miss Elizabeth were already married prior to this wedding so they can’t really outdo that wedding because it was just a fake wedding this one’s going to be a real one which nobody will want to see only the girls and the casuals I am not paying pay-per-view price or if I have the opportunity to pay a ticket to go see it in person I’m not dropping $100 to see a fucking wedding all and all I could use it to go to the bathroom and go get myself a coffee just so I can keep awake through this whole bullshit of a segment

Wow.. chill. It would NEVER be at Wrestlemania. At most it would be on Total Bella’s. No big deal. We just saw Lana and Rusev’s fucking dumb dumb (with a lack of better words) wedding on Total Divas. So, breathe.

I don’t know, this is Roid Boy I mean Cena and he gets what he wants. I wouldn’t put it past them to allow them to get married and waste Mania air time on this garbage. I hope it’s on Total Dimwits or Total Ring Rats but I too am afraid the WWE will waste a PPV for a wedding of these 2 idiots. I totally see what you mean about Lana and RuRu though, Didn’t they do DB and the other WWE bumper sucker Bella on Total Dimwits? Dimwits being Divas, Ring Rats being the Bellas “show”.

        • NoGoodMickey

I wouldn’t be too surprised either because, like you said, cena. And idk, I try to turn the channel when Lana talks or Rusev is well.. there.

  • Melissa A. Klein

I think the show total Bella’s and Total Divas are just a caveat for these women to get weddings that they cannot afford and he is just a cash cow but of course Nikki and John will never get one of those weddings they would have to get better they would have to actually spend Vince McMahon’s money Jesus Christ if this happens I swear to you not I will end up turning it off and not watching the rest of it because then it’s shits on everybody that it’s been on the road for the entire year and this ends up taking up what 30 minutes remember last year’s WrestleMania 7 fucking hours what now it’s going to be 8 enough
