Zoey Stark’s red-hot run on WWE RAW has hit a major roadblock.

The former tag partner of Trish Stratus is now expected to be out of action for a long stretch after undergoing knee surgery. WWE sources believe she won’t be back in time for WrestleMania 42 in 2026.

Stark sustained the injury on the May 19, 2025 episode of RAW during a Money in the Bank qualifying match. She landed awkwardly after executing a missile dropkick, and her knee visibly buckled on impact. Medical staff immediately pulled her from the match and rushed her for evaluation.

WWE has not officially commented on the exact nature of the surgery, but Fightful’s report confirmed that it was a significant procedure, and not her first major operation on that knee. Stark hasn’t made any public statements about her recovery timetable, but the company is reportedly not planning for her to return “before WrestleMania in 2026.”

This injury comes after a steady rise for Stark, who teamed up with Trish Stratus during a major program in 2023 and began carving out her own space on the RAW women’s roster. She had only just begun gaining serious traction when this injury halted her momentum.

Wrestling fans know all too well how devastating these setbacks can be, especially for talent on the cusp of a breakout. Everyone at Ringside News wishes Zoey Stark a full and speedy recovery—we hope to see her back stronger than ever.
