Zoey Stark is officially headed into surgery—but she’s not staying silent any longer.

After going down just moments into her match on the May 19 episode of WWE Raw, Stark finally spoke out about the injury in a heartfelt tweet posted on May 21, 2025.

“Wow the love and support means more to me than you’ll ever know!” she wrote. “What hurts more than my knee is knowing I won’t be able to perform for all of you for a while. I LOVE what I do and I’m blessed to do this. As the saying goes, the comeback is greater than the setback. Love you guys.”

The emotional message came after show host Joe Lowry dropped a tough update live on WrestleBinge, saying: “Just got word from Chris Featherstone that she is getting an MRI and headed into surgery, and that story is developing. We just found that out literally minutes before we got on the air.”

Stark suffered the injury during a Women’s Money in the Bank qualifying triple threat match against Rhea Ripley and Kairi Sane. She was pulled from the match during a commercial break, and the bout was completed without her.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer, Stark’s injury forced WWE to rewrite the match ending completely. “Sane lost her first match back, which obviously wasn’t the plan,” Meltzer said. “They had no choice, they had to do what they had to do.”

With surgery now confirmed, there’s no telling how long Stark will be out, but her message makes one thing clear—she’s not giving up.

Do you think Zoey Stark will return even stronger after this setback? Or is this going to be a tough road back to the top? Drop your thoughts in the comments and send her some support.
