Zelina Vega Reveals Bizarre Fan Request to Sign Her Socks During Gym Workout

Zelina Vega has had some memorable interactions with fans, but one recent request caught her completely off guard.

While appearing on Ten Count Wrestling, Vega opened up about a bizarre encounter she had while working out at the gym — and it all centered around her socks.

Vega explained that she was minding her own business, getting in a workout, when a fan approached her with a request that left her stunned. “I was working out at the gym and they’re like, ‘Hey, um, those socks that you’re wearing…'” she recalled.

Initially, Vega thought the fan was just going to compliment her choice of socks. “And I was thinking like, oh, they probably think it’s really cute. I got them from FYE because they’re these little anime socks,” she said, describing how the socks featured Todoroki from My Hero Academia. “They were showing up over my pants, so I thought that’s what they were going to ask about, like, ‘Oh, where did you get those?'”

But the conversation took a weird turn. “Instead, they were like, ‘Yeah, can we have them? And would you mind like signing like the top of it, but don’t… I don’t want you to like wash them or anything.’ And I’m like, um, no, thank you, but no,” Vega said, laughing at the memory. “I’m going to keep my socks. I like my Todoroki socks. Thank you.”

Zelina Vega’s bizarre fan encounter might have been unexpected, but it’s a reminder that life as a WWE star can get pretty weird. From autograph requests for unwashed socks to defending her title across multiple promotions, Vega is quickly finding out that anything can happen when you’re in the spotlight.
