Zelina Vega Names Three Possible Challengers for WWE SummerSlam

Zelina Vega has her eyes set on a big title defense at WWE SummerSlam 2025 in New Jersey, and she’s already got a few names in mind for potential opponents.

Speaking to WESH 2 News, the WWE Women’s United States Champion opened up about who she’d like to face at the summer spectacle.

“I know the match I’d like to have,” Vega said. “I don’t know what’s going to happen, obviously, but I do know that I want to be walking in with this title and walking out with it.”

When it comes to potential challengers, Vega didn’t hold back in dropping names. “If Chelsea really wants to mix it up again, I’m fine with that,” she said. “I love wrestling Piper Niven. So, you can do something like that, or even give people a chance, like a Mia Yim — give Michin a chance too. Her and I go back to wrestling on the indies together, and so to have a little bit of a tiebreaker moment would be really cool.”

Vega’s list of possible opponents includes Chelsea Green, Piper Niven, and Michin — all of whom could bring a serious challenge for the titleholder as she looks to solidify herself as a fighting champion.
