Zayda Steel’s Ring of Honor debut didn’t air as planned—but she’s keeping her sense of humor about it.

During ROH Final Battle: Zero Hour, Steel faced Leila Grey in what was supposed to be a spotlight moment for the former WWE NIL signee. However, midway through the match, the live YouTube stream suddenly cut away to the Zero Hour logo with no warning or explanation. When the feed resumed, the show had already moved on to a backstage segment, and Steel’s match was never shown again. No finish, no recap, no mention.

The production slip quickly drew criticism from fans, especially since Steel was making her first ROH in-ring appearance after generating buzz with her WWE departure. After the match, Steel broke her silence on X and gave the situation a cheeky spin:

“Apparently I broke the feed. Look, greatness has consequences. Big shoutout to @ItsBliz for the new theme—still The Real Deal ❤️ #ROHFinalBattle”

The match disappearance wasn’t the only issue plaguing the Zero Hour pre-show. Fans also reported ongoing audio problems throughout the broadcast. While most of the criticism has focused on the YouTube livestream, Ringside News can confirm that ROH HonorClub members faced no problems.

Steel’s debut may have been botched on the broadcast side, but she clearly made an impression—and fans are now even more eager to see her next ROH appearance.
