Zayda Steel isn’t sweating the crowd count talk — and she made that crystal clear.

As the debate around Ring of Honor’s smaller Jacksonville studio setup continues online, one fan decided to take a direct shot at Steel’s momentum. The comment referenced her ROH appearance and tried to undercut the “Zayda stocks are up” narrative by comparing crowd sizes. The fan wrote:

“...she went from working in front of 300 people at the PC to working in front of less than a hundred people in a PBS studio. You know nothing of how ‘stocks’ nor popularity nor fucking MATH actually works. Bitch, shut the fuck up.”

That post gained traction — and Steel saw it. Instead of ignoring it, she jumped in with a sarcastic response that flipped the entire argument on its head.

“I wrestled in front of 300 people at the PC? Wow, that’s news to me. Anyway, I’m very happy where I’m at, and I’m on my own journey, I’m sorry ur not investing in my stocks 😩”

Short, sharp, and confident. The back-and-forth comes amid ongoing chatter about ROH tapings at WJCT Studios in Jacksonville, which will operate with a much smaller in-person crowd than traditional wrestling venues. Critics have focused heavily on how it looks visually, while supporters argue the studio format brings a different vibe.

Steel, though, didn’t engage in a venue debate. She made it personal — and positive. From her perspective, she’s exactly where she wants to be. Now the conversation has shifted from how the room looks to how talent feels about it.

Is crowd size a fair metric to judge a wrestler’s momentum? Or is Zayda Steel right that the bigger picture matters more than the seat count? Sound off below and let us know what you think.
