Zaria Betrays Sol Ruca To Ruin Women’s Title Hopes During 2/24 WWE NXT

The February 24 episode of NXT was a stacked show, but this also included a shocking moment for the women’s title match.

The WWE NXT Women’s Division takes center stage this week as the NXT Women’s Championship is on the line. Champion Jacy Jayne will defend against the high-flying and ever-dangerous Sol Ruca.

Ruca earned this opportunity in a tag team match where she teamed with Zaria. It was Ruca who scored the decisive pinfall, putting herself squarely in the title picture. While fans have been watching closely, half-expecting the ZaRuca partnership to implode at any moment, Ruca instead found herself with a championship opportunity.

The match didn’t even get started before Zaria laid Sol Ruca out. Then she hit Ruca with an F5. Then the bell sounded and Jacy Jayne took Sol down to win the match and retain the title.

After the match was over, Zaria dragged Sol Ruca out of the ring and slammed her against the announce table. It seems that ZaRuca is now over, and Jacy Jayne is still champion.
