Zack Ryder didn’t need a full-time WWE contract to make an impact. His surprise return to the company may have only lasted one night, but his merch sales are doing numbers that rival full-time talent.

Even after losing to LA Knight in the “Last Time Is Now” tournament, Ryder’s return sparked immediate interest. The former WWE Superstar—who had been working the indies and building his own brand for years—took to X/Twitter to reveal that his merch is outselling everyone else’s on WWEShop.

“I don’t know how accurate the Top Sellers filter is on @WWEShop , but it shows that the 3 new Zack Ryder shirts are the top selling shirts,” he wrote.

He even took a friendly jab at another WWE name while keeping things humble.

“(I won’t let it get to my head like @realKILLERkross did)”

Grateful for the support, Ryder made it clear he’s not taking any of this for granted.

“Thank YOU for the support. It’s much appreciated. If you haven’t, please consider buying one of the new shirts. WOO WOO WOO…YOU KNOW IT!”

Sources within WWE confirmed Ryder’s return was a one-off and that he’s not currently under contract. That said, the door isn’t closed. With sales like this and a fanbase that clearly never left, it wouldn’t be surprising to see him pop up again.

Zack Ryder isn’t back full-time—yet—but his shirts are flying off shelves like he never left. WWE may want to take notice.
