Yasmín is speaking out about the financial hardship she says she endured during pregnancy, revealing emotional details about going without food and continuing to work while claiming she received no financial support from the father of her child. She shared the story during an appearance on the La Nueva Polémica de la Lucha Libre podcast, where she described how survival became her daily focus while preparing to become a mother.

During the conversation, Yasmín explained that after learning she was pregnant, she chose to keep working at Triple A because she knew she needed some level of income to afford prenatal care. She described staying committed to her job responsibilities despite personal turmoil and learning that the father of her child had allegedly moved on with another relationship. She described how financial help never arrived, even as the pregnancy progressed and responsibilities increased.

“Yo seguí mi vida. Yo trabajaba en AAA, ya estaba a cargo de decanes. Me quedo ahí en Triple A porque yo sabía que necesitaba solvencia económica, que no era mucha, pero que de alguna u otra forma iba a poder llevar mi control prenatal, ¿no? Ya salía con otra luchadora del consejo que ya posteriormente me enteré y yo dije, ‘No, no merezco esto.’ Sin embargo, económicamente nunca hubo un apoyo.”

“I continued with my life. I worked at AAA, I was already in charge of the ring attendants. I stayed there at AAA because I knew I needed financial stability — it wasn’t much, but somehow I would be able to keep up with my prenatal care. He had already started seeing another wrestler from the council, which I found out about later, and I said, ‘No, I don’t deserve this.’ However, financially there was never any support.”

As she continued sharing details from that time, Yasmín described just how severe her financial situation became. She said there were moments when basic necessities like food became uncertain, forcing her to keep working while hiding her struggles from those around her. She recalled one particularly difficult moment when others stepped off a bus to eat, but she stayed behind because she simply didn’t have the money.

“Había días que no comía. Soy franca… La realidad era que traía 12 pesos en la bolsa.”

Translation:
“There were days when I didn’t eat. I’m being honest… The truth was that I only had 12 pesos in my pocket.”

She explained that she was several months pregnant at the time and trying to maintain her responsibilities despite the physical toll pregnancy had already taken on her body. The memory of hiding her struggles while continuing to work remains one of the defining moments she shared during the podcast appearance.
