Regardless, Magee was a terrific athlete who had great matches with Bret Hart and Ted Dibiase, but when he was in the ring with people who weren’t at Hart or Dibiase’s level, it wasn’t pretty. X-Pac still thinks WWE left money on the table with Magee, because if they had him work with the right people for months and months he would have eventually learned the subtle details of the wrestling business.

X-Pac says he would have loved to work with Magee. He notes that Magee would have just had to listen like he did in the Bret Hart match, and everything would have been great. He would have started the match with a lock up, and he would have took a bump over the rope as Magee pushed him off. He did a similar think in the opening minutes of a tag match with Hulk Hogan one time.

X-Pac says he was very sad to hear of the passing of Silver King this week. He notes that Silver King was one of the few performers who was able to captivate audiences in North America, Mexico and Japan. X-Pac notes that since he still wrestles at 47 years old, the thought of something like this happening to him enters his mind from time to time and it’s a sobering thought.

He thinks it’s very important that every wrestling show has sufficient plans in place in the event something like this occurs, whether that be EMTs, ambulances, etc. If you can provide these things, then he doesn’t think you should be promoting shows.
