The Wyatt Sicks made the move to Friday Night SmackDown, but you wouldn’t know it by watching the show. The eerie faction hasn’t been seen since attacking The Final Testament on RAW in December, leaving fans wondering what’s going on. While some assumed their absence was tied to Alexa Bliss and rumors about her return, it turns out there’s a completely different reason.
According to Fightful Select, WWE sources have confirmed that an injury-related issue is keeping The Wyatt Sicks off television. Despite speculation that Bliss’ situation has impacted the faction’s direction, sources claim that her absence isn’t necessarily affecting long-term plans for the group.
“it was also said that Alexa not being back yet hasn’t necessarily affected long term plans for the faction,” the outlet claimed.
Sean Ross Sapp also addressed the situation on The Hump podcast, explaining that there’s been a holdup behind the scenes. “Of late there’s a reason for that, I believe one of them is sidelined,” he revealed.
The group had been involved in a lengthy program with The Final Testament before being moved to SmackDown in January. However, despite being officially part of the blue brand, they were nowhere to be seen on the January 17 episode—or any episode since.
With no official word on when they’ll reappear, fans are left guessing when WWE will finally pull the trigger on their return. Will the injury setback force a change in direction, or is WWE simply waiting for the right moment to bring them back?
