WWE announcer Mike Rome is stepping out of the ring and into the dojo — and he’s bringing his signature voice to a project that’s anything but ordinary.

Rome, whose real name is Austin Romero, has officially joined the cast of BREWMITE II, a no-holds-barred martial arts parody from Garage Beer starring NFL legend Jason Kelce and UFC icon Chuck Liddell.

Rome will serve as the official announcer for the absurd underground tournament known as the BREWMITE — a sacred battle where cold beer and bragging rights are on the line. It’s a full-circle moment for fans of wrestling theatrics and over-the-top sports storytelling, with Rome delivering the play-by-play energy in a setting that blends Bloodsport, Karate Kid, and beer-fueled chaos.

Filmed in a secret dojo deep in Miami, BREWMITE II picks up where the first film left off — with Kelce now trained and ready to fight for the elusive Golden Garage Beer. The new installment features returning faces like Bo Allen and Chief Master Velilla, plus fresh energy from Jason’s brother Travis Kelce, who makes his Garage Beer film debut. As for Jason? He’s taking it all way too seriously, and loving every second of it.

“After filming Part One, the only thing I could think about was releasing Part Two,” Kelce said. “Sometimes I’d wake up in the middle of the night, drenched in sweat and in full gi. After splitting the headboard with a shuto-uchi, I knew we had to get this thing out for the fans — I simply couldn’t take the anticipation any longer.”

Rome’s role brings some legit sports entertainment flair to the madness, helping anchor the action and lending authenticity to the chaos. And fans are already hunting for easter eggs — from VHS tapes “duplicated beneath the dojo” to behind-the-scenes footage dropping all July on Garage Beer’s socials. Chuck Liddell enters the mix as the film’s ultimate threat — “The Iceman” facing off against Kelce in a showdown that probably smells like beer, sweat, and regret.

“Bringing Trav into the mix was awesome,” Kelce added. “We grew up doing ridiculous martial arts moves on each other, and honestly, this wasn’t the first time one of us slapped the other.”

BREWMITE II is available across Garage Beer’s digital platforms, with limited merch and tapes available at the Philly release party. Fans can follow Garage Beer on Instagram and X for entry details.

Mike Rome’s presence might just be the unexpected crossover fans didn’t know they needed — WWE swagger meets Garage Beer madness.
