Nia Jax Is Not Ready for the Title Picture
I’m sure Nia Jax is a great human being. She probably loves her parents and has never put babies in a blender. She’s really trying to improve. I can applaud her for her effort. All that said, I just don’t think she’s ready for the title picture. All eyes will be on her, and I don’t think she’s at that skill level yet. Maybe next year, but not now. I don’t trust Alexa and Nia to have a good match at No Mercy.
In Charlotte’s last match on Raw, she had two major botches. The second one (the moonsault) I can excuse, as some people are either not strong enough or not fast enough to catch a falling human being. However, the first one was really bad. She performed what was supposed to be a shoulder breaker, but instead she dropped Charlotte straight on her head.
Promo-wise, I think Bliss will run circles around her. Nia really sounds like a Valley Girl, which makes it hard to buy into her character. Their match will probably be worse.
One could make an argument that Alexa is currently out of challengers, what with Dana Brooke being non-existent and Emma feuding with Mickie James. Still, that’s WWE’s fault for taking the title off Sasha in the first place. Sasha could have had lots of fresh challengers. Instead, we’re looking at two inexperienced wrestlers fighting over the top title.
