WWE isn’t wasting any time with its new Evolve series, and it looks like the company is way ahead of schedule.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has already taped seven weeks’ worth of episodes at the Performance Center—all under tight security.

“Evolve has already taped about seven weeks’ worth of shows at the Performance Center. They’ve limited who can attend as they don’t want any info out on the shows. I don’t think most even know so many episodes have already been taped,” Meltzer reported.

What makes this even bigger? Evolve is going head-to-head with AEW Dynamite, premiering on March 5, 2025, on Tubi, and airing every Wednesday night. WWE is clearly putting major resources behind this project, giving rising prospects a platform while strategically counterprogramming AEW’s flagship show.

The roster features talent signed to WWE’s Performance Center and its ID program, which was launched in October 2024 to develop top independent wrestling stars. With WWE recently finalizing a partnership with TNA Wrestling, there’s even speculation that Evolve could feature crossover talent from both companies.

With weeks of shows already in the can, WWE is making sure Evolve is ready to hit the ground running.
