It’s official—EVOLVE is coming back. After years of speculation, WWE is reviving the brand, with tapings set to begin on Friday, February 7, 2025, at the WWE Performance Center.

Bodyslam’s Corey Hays confirmed the news, though details remain scarce on who exactly will be working the show. Whether it will feature NXT stars, independent talent, or a mix of both is still unclear, but what’s certain is that EVOLVE is officially back under WWE’s banner.

WWE filed a trademark for the EVOLVE name on January 30, fueling speculation that the long-rumored NXT Evolve project was finally coming together. The company originally acquired EVOLVE Wrestling in 2020, but plans for the brand had been left in limbo—until now.

Industry insiders believe veteran booker Gabe Sapolsky is heavily involved in the project. Sapolsky, who previously ran EVOLVE Wrestling, has a long history of working with WWE, and his reputation for scouting and developing talent could make this relaunch a big deal for developmental stars and WWE’s Next in Line (NIL) athletes.

While WWE has yet to officially announce the roster, the fact that tapings are already set means something big is in motion. With February 7 just around the corner, it won’t be long before more details emerge on what this version of EVOLVE will look like.

Who do you think should be featured on the new EVOLVE brand? Should it be strictly developmental, or should WWE mix in more established names? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
