Tiffany Stratton’s WrestleMania 42 future looked uncertain just last week — but a new report suggests she could actually be headed for a major championship match.
After falling short in the Women’s Elimination Chamber match and missing out on a title opportunity at WrestleMania, Stratton’s direction for WWE’s biggest show of the year appeared uncertain. But a new report suggests the company may have already penciled in a title match for her on the grand stage.
According to BodySlam.net on March 11, 2026, WWE had the Women’s United States Championship scheduled for WrestleMania as far back as February. The report indicates the plan was for Giulia to defend the Women’s United States Championship against Stratton at the event.
This comes after Stratton nearly secured her own WrestleMania title opportunity inside the Women’s Elimination Chamber match on February 28 in Chicago. She made it all the way to the final two competitors before being defeated by Rhea Ripley, who went on to earn the WrestleMania title shot against Jade Cargill. Despite that strong performance, earlier reports suggested WWE didn’t have a clear storyline direction for Stratton heading into WrestleMania.
If the match moves forward, it would put Stratton in a major championship bout against Giulia on the biggest stage of the year. Of course, plans can always change as the event approaches. Still, if the report proves accurate, Tiffany Stratton may have a major championship opportunity waiting for her at WrestleMania after all.
Do you think Tiffany Stratton vs Giulia is the right Women’s U.S. Title match for WrestleMania 42, or should WWE go in another direction? Let us know your thoughts and leave your feedback below.
