WWE has its sights set on more AAA talent—and this time, they’re targeting one of the top women’s factions in the promotion.
Ringside News has learned that WWE has “very high interest” in bringing in Las Tóxicas, the trio made up of Flammer, Lady Maravilla, and La Hiedra. The plan isn’t just to sign individual members, but to bring them in as an act for the NXT brand.
This comes after reports that La Hiedra has told multiple people she now has to “clear upcoming dates with WWE,” further fueling speculation that she’s already locked into some kind of deal.
Bringing in Las Tóxicas would give WWE a ready-made unit with strong chemistry and built-in popularity from their AAA fanbase. WWE has used NXT as a launchpad for international talent for years, and this fits that mold perfectly.
There’s no firm timeline yet, but the pieces appear to be moving in that direction. Ringside News will continue to provide updates as they become available.
Would you want to see Las Tóxicas run wild in NXT first, or should they be thrown straight onto Raw or SmackDown? Drop your take in the comments below.
