WWE is going all out for the Royal Rumble 2026—and now we know part of the plan involves lighting up the Saudi skies as they’ll be using special drones to display the WrestleMania 42 logo at the Rumble.
Ahead of the event in Riyadh, Rohit Pant took to Twitter and revealed that WWE is testing drones to form a massive WrestleMania 42 logo, a spectacle expected to take place during the Royal Rumble broadcast itself. The test took place after the January 30 episode of SmackDown at the newly constructed stadium in Saudi Arabia.

The use of drones isn’t just flashy—it’s a clear sign that WWE is treating this Royal Rumble like more than just a pit stop on the road to WrestleMania. As reported earlier, internal talk during this week’s WWE RAW labeled the Rumble’s production plans as being on the level of WrestleMania—a comparison rarely made outside of WWE’s flagship show.
That scale of ambition matches what’s happening on the ground. WWE didn’t just use an arena—they built an entirely new stadium in Riyadh for this event. Combined with drone light shows and high-end production, this may go down as the most visually ambitious WWE event ever staged in Saudi Arabia.
