WWE has declared that the upcoming December 8 episode of SmackDown will be a special “Tribute To The Troops” edition of the show, and they’re pulling out all the stops to make it memorable.

In an exciting announcement, WWE revealed that the two-time 2024 Grammy-nominated duo, The War and Treaty, will be performing live during Friday’s episode. This special performance is set to honor U.S. service members, veterans, and their families in a heartwarming way.

The anticipation for this event is building, and with the addition of CM Punk’s return to the blue brand for the first time since 2014 and a WrestleMania 34 rematch between Charlotte and Asuka, it’s shaping up to be a must-watch show.

But that’s not all! The night will also mark the beginning of the United States Championship Number One Contenders tournament, featuring exciting matchups like Bobby Lashley vs. Karrion Kross and Santos Escobar vs. Dragon Lee, a Survivor Series 2023 rematch.
